The Institute of Innovation and Design (iid) was founded in June 2005 by prof. Holger Jahn and prof. Dr. Jörg Petruschat with the aim of pursuing projects in the context of teaching (Lehre) and research in co-operation with medium-sized companies and research facilities.
As a result of this work and experience, it arose a regionally known center of excellence, which aims on anchoring the success of innovation in long-term design strategies.
Exceeding client’s expectancies is – in our opinion – the most vital point of successful design competence.
